In year 2012, we have more activities.  Of course, we have the First Saturday Quad, yes that's usually on the first Saturday of the month, which starts on January 7. The other major event is the Third Saturday Swiss starting on January 21. Sterling Chess is the place to play tournament games! Beginner to master, young or old; in the chess world, race, gender and class are invisible. Eight-year-olds compete with senior citizens, and investment bankers fight it out with janitors.
